New York Fashion Week is starting and everyone is showing up. From celebrities big and small and it all starts next week. After seasons of virtual fashion shows, people are showing up in the biggest way. New York Fashion Week is going to be showing the upcoming spring 2022 collections.

The long wait for an in-person fashion show is finally here for the most part.

It starts on Tuesday, September 7, and ends on Sunday, September 12. Starting off the show we have Maiden Name and ending with The Blonds. Of course, the precautions with Covid are still around and the shows will be following and providing a safe environment.

The health measures that are going on this coming week will include proof of the Covid – 19 vaccines for people attending. The list of people includes models, guests, makeup and hair artists, photographers, workers, etc. Of course, the recommendation for masks is a must because of the number of people, even though the number of guests is limited.

IMG came out with their health and safety outlook for New York Fashion Week and they are going hand in hand with what the CDC recommends and has to say. For everyone there and attending, the shows are working on providing a safe working environment and they will outline precautions while there. Personally, anyone attending I am sure has waited so long for this, and even though there are so many things that need to be done. Unfortunately, the number of people allowed at the in-person shows has been reduced because of capacity limitations. As for the vaccine, if minors under the age of 12 are attending they have to take a negative test and show it as proof. Also, any and all international vaccines are accepted.

Some brands that I cannot wait to see photos from are Pretty Little Things, Silent Panda, Rebecca Minkoff and so much more. I think the most popular will be Micheal Kors with his show next Friday and it is also being live-streamed as well.

A little extra information, but right after New York Fashion Week is done, the Met Gala will be taking place. The theme for the 2021 Met Gala is going to be, In America: A Lexicon of Fashion. This usually takes place in May so having all these events line up so close together will be so intriguing to watch. The outfits, the designers, the celebrities are going to have all this attention on them this coming week.
