There is no doubt that the Met Gala is one of the most highly anticipated events in the fashion world, known for its star-studded guest list, extravagant outfits, and iconic themes. Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty will be the theme of the gala in 2023 honoring the life and legacy of the late German fashion designer. Lagerfeld passed away in 2019 and was a prolific designer and creative director who collaborated with some of the world's leading fashion houses, such as Chanel, Fendi, and his own brand. As well as showcasing the fashion industry's most daring and artistic creations, the Met Gala 2023 will honor Lagerfeld's innovative and influential career.

Like in past years, we have seen some iconic looks come from the Met Gala. For example, Kim Kardashian's dress at the Met Gala 2022 was inspired by Marilyn Monroe's famous dress that she wore when she sang "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to JFK. The burgundy sequin gown worn by Jessica Chastain was also noteworthy. Today also captured some of the most outrageous looks, such as Kendall Jenner's gold outfit. I did not doubt that this year was going to be the same!

As well as being live-streamed on Vogue's website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, the Met Gala 2023 was streamed on Vogue's website. The live stream began at 6:00 p.m. EST on May 1, 2023, and featured co-hosts La La Anthony, Derek Blasberg, and Chloe Fineman. The red carpet event was live-streamed, and viewers were very surprised by the outfits and costumes celebrities showed up in.

The Met's Costume Institute hosted a glamorous fundraiser last night in honor of its designer-friendly guest list. Among the attendees were pearls, starched collars, and rich black and white outfits that harkened back to the designer's early work. While these limited amount of photos were added you can more of the 4oo guest that had attended on other sites like Billboard , GQ, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and so many other publications.
