5 Outfits to Help for the Transition from Summer to Fall

Personally, I love autumn and all it comes with. The weather, the outfits, the drinks, and because it is around the corner I want to help with the transition into the season. Fall can be a mix of different types of weather and it can be confusing on what to wear. The outfits that I am going to show are a mixture of casual to business casual. It does not matter your location; I think as long as you add layers for the colder areas it will work. With that being said, here are some of my favorite fall outfits that are perfect with the in-between season.

White Button Up and Jeans

This top is amazing for summer and fall. The puff sleeves and cute lace detail in the blouse give a touch of summer while still keeping you warm. The button-up is a great transition item and can be paired with anything. I prefer jeans because it gives it a more casual look. The jeans I have on are non-ripped and you can do any pair that makes you feel comfortable. The look is practical and sometimes you need a nice everyday look for the transitional period.

Polka Dot Dress

Autumn is right around the corner and the weather is still going to be warm for a little longer. Of course, a dress is needed for this transitional time. Whether it is midi or maxi length, patterns are going to be important for this fall. I have chosen a polka dot and more of a warm tone with the look. I love brown and black together and I think having it like this is really going to help with transitioning into fall fashion. I added a little bag with gold embellishments to tie it all together.

 Blazers!

Blazers! I love a blazer that can just take my outfit to the next level. The versatility in a blazer is perfect to add to your wardrobe if you do not already own one. It can turn any casual outfit into formal. Adding this mustard color blazer to a simple black tee and jeans pulls the look together. For this fall, I recommend a more relaxed appearance when it comes to the blazer and it is perfect for the cold mornings to come but warm afternoons. I believe that having a blazer will make the perfect look a transitional period and all throughout fall as well.

Collared Shirt and Business Pants

Going back to basics, I have chosen a cream top with the collar popped and tucked it into a white business pant. I own about 5 slacks, either a neutral color or pattern. I think this is one of my favorite outfits because it’s more of a classy look. I prefer to wear this on a cooler day because I do not need to wear a jacket nor will I be too hot because of the breathable material. It is also nice sometimes to just have on some light colors to bring in the summer aspect.

Bringing Back the Vest

You guessed it, a monochromatic look. You can never go wrong with wearing all black. Within the outfit are gold embellishments to break it up and I even added a brown and black purse with gold embellishments to bring it all together. I would recommend you wear this outfit if you are in a colder area or it is a colder day. I love vests and layering your outfits it gives it more of a fall vibe. Also, for the windy days, you can just zip it up and you are good to go.
